The handcuffs are something of a formality, really. Even without them Yukiko was helpless to fight back, but they served to ensure Yukiko felt as helpless as she was.

Listening for the clicking sound of the handcuffs ratcheting closed, Satoshi put his hand on her slim waist as he kissed her again.
